This photograph is of a father and his four sons. Father, Heinrich B. Janz, is seated in the centre at a small table. The sons are: Johann, Heinrich, Peter and Jakob. Their mother was Maria (Letkemann) Janz (1857-1894. No birth dates are currently available for Heinrich, Peter and Jacob; therefore it can't be determined which one is which.

This photograph is of Heinrich Janzen and Katharina Janzen (nee Ekkert) and their daughter Margareta Janzen taken during a summer visit to Bad Nauheim, Germany in 1908. The women are dressed in light coloured clothing and hats. The father is wearing a homburg hat and has a cane. They are seated on willow furniture near a wooded area. The letter on the reverse is written to her sister Anna.
This is a photo of children standing on a boat and dock on the Saskatchewan River in Grand Rapids, Manitoba. This was the mission's boat called, in Cree syllabics, The Ambassador. The Northern Canada Evangelical Mission used this boat to bring people to Sunday services.
This photograph is of seven young ladies resting under a large tree. They are students at the Maedchen Schule. All are wearing dark clothing and the youngest in front has a white apron over her dress. The names are Margareta Janzen and Lena Eckert in the front row; then unknown and Schroeder; back row M. Wiebe, Helena Unger (later a Mrs. J. Friesen) and Lena Dyck. Inscription on reverse states it was taken when "I" (unknown) was in the Maedchen Schule the first year.

To Anna Janzen's left is Abram Janzen, then Jacob Schultz, to his left is Aganetha Priess. Seated slightly below Aganetha Priess is Johann Janz with Margareta Janzen to his left
