Scrapbook containing newspaper clippings, wedding announcements, anniversary announcements, and assorted programs and bulletins pertaining to members of Central Mennonite Church (Elida, Ohio) and other Mennonites in the community.

A small set of personal papers including correspondence to a cousin describing relief work in the Middle East, correspondence to and from Vesta Zook, articles written by Slagel (including the publication of portions of his diary kept during his relief service), obituaries and other clippings, photographs of Arthur Slagel, Don Slagel, and relief work abroad, genealogical information, and a Hesston College choral program.

This collection consists primarily of well labeled photographic prints documenting Arthur Voth's service with the Mennonite Central Committee in post-World War II Europe.  Photos depict Arthur Voth, his coworkers, refugee camps, German and Austrian Mennonite refugees, and the resettlement process from arrival at a refugee camp to departure.

The letters provide descriptions of the Fallingbostel Refugee Camp, a detailed account of the transport of 213 Mennonite refugees from Austria to Germany in 1948, and personal reflections on the resettlement of refugees.

Collection contains primarily correspondence between Arthur W. Nafziger and various WWII servicemen in both the Civilian Public Service and the military. Correspondence discusses a variety of topics such as the weather, work habits of servicemen, religion, attitudes towards Mennonites, and daily life.

Other materials include records of Hopedale Mennonite Church activities, including the establishment of Sunday School programs and the congregational views on WWII servicemen, and photocopies of German-language letters sent in the 1800s. Some notes and lists concerning Arthur W. Nafziger's touring at the Caterpillar factory and other local historical spots are also included.

This collection includes a bound report of the first Asia Mennonite Conference and accompanying slides, as well as a report of 1980 conference.

The majority of this collection is made up of the weekly church bulletins from 1964 through 1966. Also included is a set of meeting minutes from 1965.

The collection includes correspondence, reports, and the constitution of the Association of Mennonite Social Workers, an organization open to Mennonites and those of similar faith in professional social work positions. The organization was intended to facilitate discussion, serve as a medium for recruitment, interpret goals and objectives of social work, and provide a sense of fellowship.

Meeting minutes taken at the semi-annual meetings of several Mennonite Church USA conferences in geographic proximity.  Issues discussed include opportunities for collaboration, creating a common vision, church planting, and notable happenings in each of the conferences represented.

Clippings pertaining to a conscientious objector and non-registrant in the World War II era.  Regier was affiliated with the Mennonite Church.

Personal papers of a radio evangelist and missionary affiliated with the (old) Mennonite Church.  Hostsetter's papers include sermons (circa 1970 - 1997), records of sermons preached and speaking engagements, documents pertaining to the Church of the Lord (Aladura) in Nigeria, photographs, and personal, professional, and pastoral correspondence.

Personal papers of B. Frank and Esther Johnson Stoltzfus, who served as missionaries, educators, and administrators at multiple American colleges in Bulgaria, Lebanon, and Turkey from 1924 to 1960. Materials consist of diaries, correspondence, teaching records, writings, and family photographs. Of particular interest are a series of 1947 dispatches written to Floyd H. Black, President of the Sofia American College, which document Stoltzfus’s experiences in and impressions of Bulgaria during the early years of the country’s communist regime.

Two attendance certificates issued to Barbara E. Yoder. One clearly identifies the issuing congregation as the Amish congregation in Logan County, Ohio and the subject of the certificate as Sunday school attendance.

A 4 page letter by Barbara Kennel Nafsienger written on January 28, 1891 in Doulevant le Chateau addressed to cousins David and Barbara describing health, news and weather. A transcription of the letter is also included.

Assorted papers associated with Fannie Baumgartner Kauffman's (1867-1936) parents, Johannes (John) Baumgartner (1823-1904, emigrated from Alsace in 1856) and Verena (Fannie) Amstutz Baumgartner (1829-1873, emigrated from Alsace circa 1855).  These include manuscripts of song lyrics, genealogical information, church letters, copy books, an account book / weather diary, and correspondence.  The collection also contains a few items created by Fannie Baumgartner Kauffman and her husband, Henry M. Kauffman, including handwritten prayers, ephemera, and correspondence.  Typewritten transcriptions are available for many of the German handwritten documents.
