The Jacob Pauls family and the Bernhard Buhler family had annual fishing outings at the nearby South Saskatchewan River. Jacob was the minister and Bernhard was the deacon at Osler. This photograph shows the families seated around a tent that they've erected.
Jacob H. Pauls and Mary Schmidt were married at Osler Mennonite Church in 1936. Jacob was Leo Driedger's uncle and was a minister at Osler Mennonite Church from 1938-1963.
Cornelius Driedger attended the German-English Academy (now called RJC High School) in 1917. This item is a post card for the Academy. Note the misspelling "Acadamy" and the dormitory in the back left.

This house at Blumenfeld, Manitoba was owned by Johann and Katharina Martens, grandparents of Leo Driedger. Leo's father was born in this house in 1891. It may have been built around 1880.
