The house appears to have a basement. On the right side in front of the house is an old well from which to draw the water. A pail is attached to a crank at the top of the well. A large tub is to the left of the well.

At least one grave is missing its tombstone. The cemetery is not well-maintained. It has many trees growing in it.

There are some evergreen trees at the back beside the new structure and deciduous trees behind the barn. The yard is not kept up well.

A small part of another structure can be side toward the back on the left side of the photo. The yard is well-maintained and has some chickens running free. There is a wrought-iron gate which is open at the front of the photo. A tree is behind the gate.

There are trees beside the house, as well as behind it. The yard is bare.
