This series includes a yearbook (1971), Alumni newsletter (1981), Westgate Alumni Association meeting minutes and correspondence (1982-1986), alumni contact lists from class 1958-1983, academic calendars (1965-1984), 25th Anniversary Celebration Alumni and staff questionnaires (1983), programs for opening programs, ceremonies, the Arts, and deputations, including the 25th Anniversary Celebration Variety Program (1979-2016), and publications, including A Westgate Perspective (1992-2015), A Westgate Retrospective (2010-2012), and Mennonite Mirror Volume 10 No. 7 March 1981 Special Section: A Westgate Mirror.

Building and Facilities

This series consists of Campus Development Project meeting minutes (1978), reports (1980, 1988-1989, 2006), statement of aims (1977), and architect Rudy P. Friesen's paperwork (1977-1978). The series also includes Exploration Committee meeting minutes and reports (2001-2003), Strategic Planning Committee minutes (2008-2009), Redevelopment Committee meeting minutes (2011), and Facility Search Committee meeting minutes and reports (2010-2011).

5 floppy disks and 1 optical disk are stored with the textual records. The digital files from these disks are stored on the Mennonite Heritage Archives' server. Files include excel spreadsheets with data and formulas to create maps, students addresses, students churches, banquet ticket sales, and four images of Prairie Architects Inc. promo drawings of the redevelopment. PPT and PowerPoint files were unreadable.

This fonds contains oral interviews gathered on the subject of labour history from the view of Mennonite business owners and Mennonite employees and well as the history of Westgate Mennonite Collegiate in Winnipeg. The workers were selected from different gender and social classes. The content formed the basis for Thiessen's thesis on labour history of Russian Mennonites, a book on unions, and history of the private Mennonite high school, Westgate.

LaVerna kept drafts, notes and letters from editors as well.
