Moses M. Beachy Collection 1921-1940
Collected materials, mostly incoming correspondence, pertaining to Moses M. Beachy, an Old Order Amish minister and bishop who led the Mountain View Mennonite Church (Salisbury, Penn.). Beachy, for whom the Beachy Amish Mennonite Fellowship is named, led his congregation into a more technologically permissive stance. Other materials in the Moses M. Beachy collection include cancelled checks, envelopes, and a reminiscence of Rufus M. Beachy (brother of Moses M. Beachy). Researchers should note that some of the letters are photocopies or typed copies rather than originals.
