They are seated in the church benches singing. The choir which sang at the Blumenort Church Youth Festival? Written on the back of one of the photos is: " 'Ebenezer' youth group at a choir practice." (" 'Ebenezer' Jugendgruppe bei einer Choruebung.") They were part of the Blumenorter Mennonite Youth Group. The photo was used in "Jugendseite," the youth section of Der Bote.

Used in the CM 4-41-4. Jorge (or Jorga), a young Ashaninca Christian man assists Sylvester Dirks in translation work. The photo was taken inside the present "church", the Dirks' first jungle home.
