Used in the CM 2-4-3 with art. on "Mennonite Youth Meet." Youth hostel (Jugendherberge) at Elmshorn, Germany where a retreat was held. The postcard was sent to the CM by D. P. Neufeld. It is dated 1954.

Studio portrait of him. See CM 17-5-8 where it was announced that he would be the guest speaker at the Youth for Christ meetings in Winnipeg. He was from Minneapolis, Minn.

Not used in the CM. See article in CM 1-2-1 and related photos in 1992-14.3656 and 2010-14.47. Two similar photos (including negs.) of the Gnadenthal Youth Group at a choir practice. They are seated in the church benches singing. The choir which sang at the Blumenort Church Youth Festival? Written on the back of one of the photos is: " 'Ebenezer' youth group at a choir practice." (" 'Ebenezer' Jugendgruppe bei einer Choruebung.") They were part of the Blumenorter Mennonite Youth Group. The photo was used in "Jugendseite," the youth section of Der Bote.

Bill Gering, the full time youth missionary of the General Conference Mennonite Church sits at his desk in Newton, Kansas, holding a folder entitled Youth Program Helps. A young man is at left and another man at the right, possibly Bill Block, the new vice-president of the YPU (see photo of him in CM 4-33-3). Incomplete temporary residence for parents arriving to bring or to get their children who are studying at the Mennonite mission in Yalwa Sanga, Chaco Boreal. Used in CM 11-15-10.

Used in CM 13-12-6 with art. by Frank H. Epp "Why go to USSR?" A castle perches on the edge of the rock, high above the Black Sea visible below. Called "The Swallow's nest" located in the Crimea near Yalta.

Used in CM 7-10-9. A group of boys (most are Afro-American) wait in front of the activity hall for equipment. Caption:"An MCC unit of 7 members serves at the Wiltwyck School for Boys currently."

Used in the CM 4-41-4. Jorge (or Jorga), a young Ashaninca Christian man assists Sylvester Dirks in translation work. The photo was taken inside the present "church", the Dirks' first jungle home.
