Two women are standing outside, each holding a child and one woman is seated on a chair, also holding a child.. Two women are wearing checked dresses with a lower belt and the other with wide stripes. A bush is behind them. The inscription says ' von Herbert Sask."
This photo was featured in the March 30, 2020 edition of the Canadian Mennonite, asking for help identifying the women in the photo. Dave Bukholder of Stouffville, ON has identified the adult women as Meyer sisters, "sisters of my paternal grandmother Emma (Meyer) Burkholder. (Mrs. L.J. Burkholder." left to right, Eva Williamson (Meyer) married to Orm Williamson who farmed in the Pamburn, SK area. Mary Strong (Meyer) who lived in the Gravenhurst, ON area.
