Large group of men in uniform. Jacob Peter Krahn from Rosental is second from right in the back row. He is the father to Peter J. Krahn and grandfather to Melita Penner. The Russian word at the bottom left of photo is M. D. Elman (name of the photographer). The Russian word at bottom right is VOZNESENSK, the name of a Russian town most likely where the photographer lived. The stamp in blue on photo reverse is the photographer's mark. It gives name and town and the top word is Photographer.
