Mr. Plett was born Dec. 24 1864 He was the son of Cornelius Plett, 1820, Poland and Lindenau Russia and the grandson of Johann Plett, 1765, Prussia.
Mr. And Mrs. Henry E. Plett are standing outside their house. Mr. Plett is holding a young child, their grandson, Norman Plett. Henry E. Plett's father was Rev. Cornelius L. Plett of Satanto, KS. Mrs. Plett is wearing a black dress and black kerchief. Mr. Plett a dark jacket and a black hat.

Cornelius Rempel b. 29 Jan 1866 (son of Johann Rempel b. 15 April 1830) is shown with his wife Katharina (nee Katharina Friesen) and two children -- son Jacob and daughter Tina (Mrs. Wm. Heinrichs). Cornelius is wearing a dark 3-piece suit and a checked shirt. Mrs. Rempel is wearing a dark dress and a lacy cap (Haube) tied in a bow. The children are wearing dark dresses with lacy white collars.
