This is a photo of Abram A. Bergmann (1853-1920). When still a child, he came to Russia with his parents. He was an estate owner and served many years on the Board of "Bethania" institute. [HR 98]
This is a photo of Abram A. Friesen, teacher at the Commerce School. Later on he was a delegate for the Mennonites of Russia when they were seeking a way to emigrate. He died in Rabbit Lake, Saskatchewan. [HR 183]

This is a photo of a silver wedding of Abram and Anna Matthies, Prochladnaja in the Caucasus in 1910. In the second row on the right end sits Elder Cornelius Wiens, Mennonite Brethren Church. The little girl standing at her mother's knees is now Mrs. A. DeFehr, Kildonan; the little blonde is now the widow, W. Dyck, Niverville. To her right sits Hulda Reimer, now in the Soviet Union. Only these three of all the people shown on the photo are still living. [HR 227]
This is a photo of the Abram Hueberts. They were serving as missionaries of the M.B. Church in India, 1898. Huebert was the second Mennonite Brethren Missionary in foreign parts from the Russian Mennonite Brethren congregations. [HR 95]
