This collection consists of minutes, reports and finances from many of the organizations Ens worked with and shows the populous support for the cooperative movement and for relief work in the Mennonite communities in Southern Manitoba.

The files are from Gerhard Lohrenz's filing cabinet and his 13 binders of correspondence and photographs. Some personal and financial items were removed by the family before the collection was delivered.
Fonds consists of letters sent from family and friends in South Russia to Peter Priess in Manitoba in the late 1920s and early 1930s. and photographs. The letters are mostly concerned with the day-to-day activities of the writers, as well as events that might hold personal significance for them or for Peter; they mention everything from daily work and birthdays or funerals, to mass travel to Moscow or passports and the arrests of male family members by Russian authorities. Also included are a number of postcards that were sent to Peter in the 1930s, and a songbook belonging to Anna Janzen, Peter’s maternal aunt.
The fonds consists of a series of personal family photographs of Gerhard Wiens. Some are on DVD, others are photocopied. There is a detailed list of descriptions and dates. One photograph is of Peter & Elfriede Dyck, Gerhard Wiens and 38 people who were baptized in Buenos Aires in 1947. Also included are the obituary of Gerhard Wiens and a bulletin from his funeral service in 2007 - (1 file) Box 416
