This photo shows the original chair and two replicas of a chair that was made of North American materials, handcrafted and wedgework construction. It was made by the Falk family who were pioneer settlers in Southern Manitoba in 1874, and handed down to Anna (Falk) Braun, to Anna (Braun) Schellenberg , to John Schellenberg who is seen in the photo with his hand on the original. John C. Reimer, former curator of the MHV is also on the photo. The chairs and research have been donated to the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach.
Negatives also (2). Two views (one is closer up & from a different angle) of the long line of people waiting to view the inside of the combined house & barn buildings at the museum.
