The collection consists largely of letters between the Baumans and family members and friends, and correspondence related to Clarence's study in Germany and work at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary. Also included are a paper on the Charismatic Movement and a presentation on Communism and Christian Faith, both written by Clarence.
The correspondence papers were for a time kept in a high humidity environment and show some signs of mold.
