This photo is of a 400 voice choir directed by George Wiebe (Wiebe is not visible in the photo). The choir is performing at Festival '71, an occasion sponsored by the BC Mennonite Brethren.
Used in CM 18-8-8, reviewed by Howard Dyck. Orchestra & combined choirs of CMBC & MBBC performing "Elijah" at Centennial Concert Hall, Wpg. George Wiebe was the conductor. Smaller copy of photo (18x12.5) also. See CM 13-49-1.

Dated Jan. 2, 1951. Choir of CMBC. Taken in the Konrad Conservatory? A splendid background. John Konrad was the conductor of the choir at this time. See CM 15-24-42.
