Von Gunten's presenting candle, Manigotagan

This is a photograph of a candle ceremony during the twenty-third annual family camp at Manigotagan, Manitoba. Twelve candles (representing the twelve apostles) were given by Native Ministry staff to the local community, marking the end of their work in Manigotagan. In this photo Neill von Gunten (holding candle) and Edith von Gunten (holding gifts) are giving one of the candles. Norman Meade is to the left of Neill with his head bowed. Charles Simard is on the left edge of the photo. Ruth and Murray Martin are both wearing green sweatshirts (back middle). Edith Hiebert is standing on the right edge of the photo (grey sweater).
