Bruno & Elizabeth Epp

Used in CM 2-9-7. Studio picture of the Epps with their son Vernon (6 mo.old?) before they left for Volendam, Paraguay where he was to teach in the "Zentralschule." They were sponsored by the B. of Miss. GC Church

The Epps are shown with a hand drawn cart in which one of their young children is sitting. Also in the cart is a box labelled Rio Negro on top of which is an open black satchel. The Epps are dressed up for Sunday.

The Epps are shown on the ramp of a Canadian Pacific airplane. He is holding their daughter Elizabeth (21/2 yrs. old?). The back of the photo says '59, when they left for a 2nd term in Neuland, Paraguay. See CM 7-21-3.

Negative also. Used in CM 5-32-8. He is shown in a one-horse cart, his means of travel to distant church services. He taught in the Central & Bible schools, led a choir, gave music lessons & made numerous house visitations.

Mennonite and Mennonite Brethren church workers who met in Volendam, East Paraguay for a conference. The Canadians present, who may be visible in this photograph, were Rev. A. G. Neufeld, Rev. Bruno Epp, Rev. Henry C. Born, Rev. Frank J. Dyck and Rev. Henry H. Epp.
