Large red barn in centre of photo. Roth notes "Peter Steinman obtained to Crown Deed to the front 50 acres which he sold to Daniel Hochstetler in 1837. Moses Hostetler purchased this part in 1842 & the rear 150 acres from the U. of T. in 1853".

Pennsylvania barn back, barn bank view. Roth notes "The date of this Pennsylvania barn is not known but it probably was built by Daniel Roth who came into possession of the farm sometime after the death of his father in 1865."
