In one photo, the close-up view shows the primitive shack which stand alongside the modern bank building, reflecting the economic contrasts in the Republic of China (Taiwan). The view of the building is dated March 5, 1966 and was taken by Frank H. Epp on his Asian tour.

At the point where the slanted roof lines begin, a cross is mounted and projects above the roof. One low roofed house is partially seen to the right of the church beyond the fence. One of the MCC feeding stations in India? Abe Hoeppner stands at left behind a group of children. The focus of the photo is a container where some food is being mixed by an Indian man. Other PAX men? look on as well.
