Tourists photographing boys outside of the Martin Mennonite Meetinghouse
Tourists photographing boys outside of meetinghouse on a Sunday morning. Photograph published in Kitchener-Waterloo Record, 4 Aug 1970. Photo caption reads: "MENNONITE RESISTANCE - A young couple's attempt to photograph activities at Elmira's Old Order Mennonite Meetinghouse was thwarted this weekend when the Mennonites used hand mirrors to reflect the sun's glare into their camera. Mennonite elders inside the hall gave their useful counterparts outside permission to use the mirrors as a subtle but effective means of fighting intrusion from tourists.
