Bethel Church, Mt. Lake, MN

This is a photo of the "Bethels" Church [as the photo is inscribed, but could be Bethel Mennonite Church?] in Mountain Lake, Minnesota. It shows a wooden structure with what appear to be additions on each end. A long platform runs along the side of the church. It is accessible by stairs from several directions. There are two sets of doors visible. There is a small covered area marking the main entrance. Ginger bread designs decorate the gables and the roof.

Blumenthal Old Colony School House

Written on reverse: The former Old Colony School house in the Village of Blumenthal, north of Saskatoon. Up to late 1950s it was used as a church house. The architecture ie. the windows in attic, show it as a bldg from Old Colony times. The Brauns may have attended church, the children school here.

Negatives only, 3. Three views of board members at the CMC annual meeting in Saskatoon. Negative #6 is somewhat similar to 1998-14.120 which was used in the CM 6-28-9, but is taken from further away. Negative #1 is closer up & shows board members more clearly & J.J. Thiessen as chair. Negative#2 is taken from the side & also shows some of the men who were delegates sitting in the front rows (backs to camera). The huge pipe organ & the part of the balcony are also partly visible.
