5 Generations of Andreas Blatz family. Andreas Blatz born 1861, died 16 Oct 1934. He was the son of Daniel Blatz and Helena Penner.. Daniel was born 27 Dec 1817, died 27 Feb 1875 lived in the Berghtaler Colony Russia. His first marriage was to Helena Penner born 4 Feb 1825, . 2nd marriage to widow Mrs. Jakob Giesbrecht, (nee Helena Rempel) b. 19 Sep 1828. Andreas was born in Friedrichstal, Russia, farmed on the same farm near Steinbach, all his life. His wife Barbara Stoesz was born in Schoental, Bergthal, Col., Russia . Her parents were Cornelius Stoesz and Aganetha Wiebe.

Five generations of Frank K Goosen and Maria Dueck family. Frank was born 26 Oct 1862, died 1929. His parents were Gerhard Goosen 1836-1972 and Anna Klassen. Frank married Maria Dueck b. 1963 died 1944.

Five generations of John Hildebrand and Abram Penner families. They farmed in Blumental near Halbstadt.

Abram Loeppky was the son of Johann Loeppky and Susanna Toews.. Johann was born 23 Jan 1831, Insel Chortitza, Russia and died 25 Sep 1912 in Niverville, MB. He was married to Susanna Toews 12 Sep 1854 . She was born 10 Feb. 1835.

Five generations of Gerhard Martens family. Gerhard was the 2nd oldest son of Jakob Martens b. 1795 and Helena Dyck b. 1811 He was born 18 Oct 1829. His first wife was Anna Friesen b. 17 Aug 1835 d.20 Jan 1866.His second wife was Katharina Klassen b. 23 Jul 1842. He lived in the Bergtaler Colony in Russia and came to Canada with Katharina and 4 children at the age of 46 years. (1875?).

Gen 3: Sara Dueck, b. 13 Mar. 1904, with husband Dietrich J. Neudorf in Altona, 1970. They are standing in a fruit garden. She is wearing a white hat. Diedrich was the son of Jacob Neudorf born 23 Aug 1854 who came to Canada in 1925. Dietrich J. Neudorf was born 10 Jul 1901 in Osterwick, Russia.

Five generations of Johan and Elizabeth (Dyck) Neustaedter family. Johan was born 4 April 1853. His wife Elizabeth Dyck was born 5 Feb 1853. She was the daughter of Wilhelm Dyck and Elizabeth Friesen. They were married 11 Nov 1871 and resided in Chortitza , near Winkler MB. They came from Russia in 1874.

Three generations of the Heinrich and Margaret (Schlabach) Rempel family. He crossed the ocean on the ship "Elbe" from Waldheim, Russia, landed in Niverville. Lived in Steinbach (Friedensfeld) also a short time in Gruenfeld. He was a teacher in winter. His wife died Jan 19, 1919.

Five generations of Frank and Helena Sawatzky family. Frank was born 7 Feb 1842, son of Franz Sawatzky b. 19 Aug 1814 in the Chortitza Colony. and Maria Hepner born 1 Sep 1814 on the Insel Chortitza. Helena Sawatzky was born 1840 (1846?) daughter of Peter Sawatzky. Frank (1842)s grandparents were Peter Sawatzky b. 4 Jul 1760 and Helena Sawatzky.

Five generations of Johann and Agata (Rempel) Schwarz family.Johann was born in 1826 in the Old Colony in Russia. Later he moved to the Bergthaler Colony . They had 12 children, 3 of whom died in infancy.
