Scope and content

This is a photo of, apparently, a street scene in early Vanderhoof. Assorted log buildings on the higher ground, including a large church with a tall steeple occupy a barren stretch of land close to the Nechako River, barely visible in the upper right side. There is a footbridge across a shallow inlet from the river on the right. A wagon trail winds down the embankment in the foreground.
