Gnadenthal Youth Group at a choir practice

Not used in the CM. See article in CM 1-2-1 and related photos in 1992-14.3656 and 2010-14.47. Two similar photos (including negs.) of the Gnadenthal Youth Group at a choir practice. They are seated in the church benches singing. The choir which sang at the Blumenort Church Youth Festival? Written on the back of one of the photos is: " 'Ebenezer' youth group at a choir practice." (" 'Ebenezer' Jugendgruppe bei einer Choruebung.") They were part of the Blumenorter Mennonite Youth Group. The photo was used in "Jugendseite," the youth section of Der Bote.

Inside the Western Gospel Chapel at Kamsack, Saskatchewan

Used in CM 7-5-4. Taken inside the Western Gospel Chapel at Kamsack, Saskatchewan when 6 young people from southern Manitoba helped the missionaries there, Rev. and Mrs. Jake Hoeppner. Several women, some wearing hats, backs to camera, sit in the front rows as the young people play their various instruments (l-r?): Alla (Allan?) Peifer, a recent convert; a 70 year old man attracted by the instruments; Pete Giesbrecht and Justina Zacharias, both school teachers from the Altona area; Lawrence Klassen, of Rosenfeld; Allen Schellenberg of Altona. See CM 6-24-7 for a view of the exterior of the chapel.
