Administrative history
A group had been meeting for worship in a school building in the area since 1928. They formally organized as the Yarrow United Mennonite Church in 1938 when their own meeting house was completed. The building was enlarged and further renovated in 19949 and 1953. In 1959 they built a new and larger meeting house and the older building was dismantled.
The language of worship was initially German and the transition to English began in the 1960s.
(See GAMEO for names of leaders and for membership numbers.)
