A solar dryer in Vietnam

This is a photo of a solar dryer that scientists at the National Science Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, helped villagers in Dong Thap province build. It is capable for drying 100kilograms (220 pounds) of food. MCC supported this work.

Dr. Linford Gehman under the direction of Dr. Dana O. Troyer, is learning specialized techniques of eye care. Dr. Troyer, an eye specialist from Goshen, Ind., served a 2 month term in Vietnam doing advanced surgery and demonstrating special techniques to other Vietnam Christian Service doctors. Mennonite Medical Association paid the transportation costs. See notice in CM 15-10-3.
