This is a photo of the flour mill of Peter Dyck, Tiege, Sagradowka appears to be copied from a postcard with the caption "Dampfmuehle des Herrn Peter Dick." (steam-powered mill of Mr. Peter Dick). This mill was constructed in 1896 by Peter Dorloff, a non-Mennonite, and Heinrich Goerzen. It was subsequently taken over by Peter Dueck who substantially enlarged it, increasing its value to 100,000 rubles. [HR 246]
This is a photo, taken in Sagradowka, Russia, of a group of about 20 people (mostly women, a few children) standing in a row facing a field with mounds of earth (assumed to be the graves of their beloved). The tress behind them are bare.

This is a photo of a mass grave 77 feet long with 58 bodies in Tiege, Sagradowka Colony following a raid by bandits. This is a copy of the photo appearing in David M. Hofer, DIE HUNGERSNOT IN RUSSLAND, und, UNSERE REISE UM DIE WELT (K.M.B. Publishing, 1924), 54. Katie Funk Wiebe's mother, Anna Janzen, grew up in Friedensfeld, one of the 17 villages in the Sagradowka Colony.

This photo is of 22 Mennonite Brethren leaders posing for a photo at the Annual Convention of the United Christian Anabaptist Mennonite Brethren Church in Tiege, Sagradovka held May 14 -15, 1910. Posing with the delegates is S.D. Bondar, Minister of the Interior. He is fourth from the left in the first row. Third from the left in the first row is Wilhelm Dyck of Millerova. This is a postcard of a typical house-barn in the village of Tiege, Zagradovka (Russia) with tall trees around it and a gate in the front. The handwritten annotation of the back reads "Nicht Tiege, sondern Neu-Schönsee, Sagradowka. Haus von Aeltestern Warkentin" (not in Tiege but rather Neu-Schönsee, home of Aeltester Warkentin).
