Archivist's note
Thanks to Tatjana Giesbrecht (Berlin), granddaughter of Susanna (Redekop) Giesbrecht, the inscription has been identified as that of Susanna (Redekop) Giesbrecht. Susanna died in Semjonovko, Kazakhstan in 1973 and was in correspondence with Nik and Maria Redekop of St. Catharines, Ontario. Helen Funk, the donor of this photo, was the youngest daughter of Nik and Maria Redekop. -- AHR (7 Dec 2018)
