History

The congregation was founded in Pincher Creek, Alberta in 1928 with 56 members as the Blumenthaler Mennonite Church. The worship services held in various homes included both the Mennonite Brethren and Mennonite families. In 1935 a meeting house was completed. Later the building was expanded. In 1969 the congregation changed its name to the current Springridge Mennonite Church.
