  • 1981

This slide show consists of 28 color and black and while slides showing the people, landscape and condition of people in the countries of Ethiopia, Somalia, and Kenya. This is the horn of Africa where people are suffering from weather extremes and from a long standing war between countries. These two issues cause a lot of refugees. MCC is trying to provide food aid to the people who need it and is working with the people in development through farming practices and new economic initiative such as selling crafts. Included is print material and an audio cassette (cassette #2539).
