This photo is of Edward Beatty, president of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) (front) and behind him former CPR commissioner Col. John S. Dennis receiving flowers from a girl at the church service commemorating the roles that Beatty and Dennis had, through the CPR, in bringing the Mennonites our of Russia to Canada in the 1920s.
