The picture shows the 1914 invitation to the Silver Wedding anniversary of Julius Peter Derksen and Helena Derksen (Friesen). The invitation reads: " We joyfully invite you and your family to our Silver Wedding celebration, which will take place on Friday, June 6 in our home. Most respectfully, Julius and Helena Derksen. Marjewka 1914" The invitation lettering is in silver and it has scalloped edges. The front on the invitation has a raised floral and bird design.
