Brother Hsieh (likely Samuel Hsieh), behind a pulpit set up in an ornately decorated pavilion, leads a prayer at the end of a large outdoor Easter service. Roughly a dozen other leaders stand, with heads bowed, in the pavilion. Taichung, Taiwan. 1956 label: “Bruder Hsieh leitet im Gebet am Schluss der Ostergottesdienstes.” [Rough translation: Brother Hsieh leads the prayer at the end of the Easter service.” A possible location for this photo is Taichung Park, near the Linshen (or Lin-shen) Road Mennonite Church in Taichung.
