Biographical history

Peter J Born was born on April 20, 1870 in Wernersdorf, South Russia. He was baptized in 1890 in the Schoensee Church. In 1893 he married Helena Pankratz of Nikolaidorf who died in 1903. His second marriage was to Elizabeth Enns of Alexandertal in 1903. They were married for 41 years and they had 5 children.

Peter was chosen as minister in the Schoensee Church in 1920 and was then ordained in 1923. They moved to Canada in 1924 where he ministered to Mennonite families in the northern area of Manitoba. He died on April 16, 1956 in Abbotsford, BC.
