Attended Bethel College, Bible Institute of Los Angeles, and Winona Lake School of Theology.

Served as pastor of Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church, Wichita, Kansas; Grace Mennonite Church, Lansdale, Pennsylvania; First Mennonite Church, Berne, Indiana; Salem-Zion Mennonite Church, Freeman, South Dakota; Grace Mennonite Church, Dallas, Oregon.

Held various elective positions with General Conference Mennonite Church, Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Mennonite World Conference.

Died 5 Nov 1982, Fresno, California.
