While these records include a handful of typical congregational records (primarily bulletins), the bulk of the collection consists of sound recordings and transcripts associated with the "Peace Stories Oral History Project" of 1990-1994.  The oral history project sought to document the experiences of conscientious objectors in the congregation and resulted in over 20 interviews. Other materials include administrative documents and publications associated with the oral history project.

A small set of records documenting relationships between the Women's Missionary and Service Commission and three other Mennonite women's groups:  Grupos Hispanos Femeniles del la Iglesia Menonita, Central Women's Organization of the Mennonite Church in India, and the Northwest Ohio Mennonite Business and Professional Women's Organization. Records consist primarily of correspondence, event programs, and a scrapbook.

A collection of papers including correspondence reflecting Wilmer's interest in local history, Mennonite Church history and Christian hymnology. He wrote many hymn texts which are included.

This set of records consists primarily of mid and late 20th century bulletins and newsletters documenting congregational life and worship.  Also included are two very early Sunday school record books (1859) a Bible conference program (1905), a centennial program (1962), a congregational history entitled "A Century and a Half with the Mennonites at Walnut Creek," and annual reports from 1984 to 1990 (1989 missing).

Records, primarily bulletins, of a Mennonite congregation in Wayne County, Ohio, historically affiliated with the (old) Mennonite Church.  Of particular interest is a photocopy of the 1894 handwritten church history and register, in German.

Sermon notes and outlines created by a minister of the (old) Mennonite Church who served Bethel Mennonite Church in Wadsworth, Ohio.  Rohrer was ordained in 1917.

The collection consists of a letter dated March 27, 1924 written by R. R. Brenneman of Lima, Ohio to E. M. Detwiler of Columbiana, Ohio. The letter is written in response to a letter R. R. Brenneman received from E. M. Detwiler regarding a specific conflict within the conference.

Personal papers of a conscientious objector during World War I and Mennonite pastor in Ohio. The bulk of the material consists of sermons organized by topic..  Also included are photographs from Camp Sherman, where Frey was stationed during the First World War, and a journal recording the names of other conscientious objectors at Camp Sherman and their visitors.  A small amount of correspondence from the World War I and World War II eras may also be found in these papers.

Includes the 1953 Phares D. and Magdalena Martin scrapbook of a trip across Illinois, Iowa, South and North Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, and Kansas. The scrapbook documents their trip with various postcards, clippings, maps and photographs.  Also includes a folder of information about Phares Martin's work with the Eastern Ohio Division of Mennonite Disaster Service.

Collection consists of a letter written by Peter Oswald to Christian Nafziger on December 20, 1874 requesting financial assistance to travel back to Ohio from New Orleans.

These papers consist of one letter from Peter Nissley to Jacob Schneider (in German, with English translation) describing the health of his neighbors and arranging a meeeting among Jacob Schneider, Amos Herr, and himself, and twelve letters in English from John M. Brenneman to Peter Nissley discussing the welfare of the church.

Photographs and postcards of members of the Yoder family, the Shank family, Hubbard, Ore., Nampa, Id, and Wooster, Ohio.  Most notable are the photographs and postcards of Charles and Crissie Yoder Shank, who served as Mennonite missionaries to India.  Also includes photogras of Anna V. Yoder and Vesta Yoder Miller, among others.

A letter addressed to a friend dated June 21, 1872 by Otto Hasenclever of Maximo, Stark County in Ohio. The letter describes his interest in teaching German and notes serious weather that struck Logan County.
