Part of COE Slide Presentation - "Mennonite World Conference"
The 4th Mennonite World Conference (MWC) was held in two locations. The first three days were at Goshen, Indiana, and the last three at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas. The conference presentations focused mainly on what had happened to the various Mennonite groups over the past twelve years. The delegates sought reconciliation between Mennonites who had been on opposite sides during the war. Several thousand North Americans participated at each conference location, but only twenty-seven Mennonites, seen in this slide, came from other countries. The first Third World Mennonites attended this world conference.
