The collection includes correspondence and family materials collected by A. Lloyd Swartzendruber.

Correspondence, subject files, and sermons of a bishop of the (old) Mennonite Church who served in Kalona and Iowa City, Iowa.  Much of the correspondence addresses selective service classification difficulties for Mennonites in Iowa and  Young People's Institute activities in Iowa.

This collection consists of fragmentary correspondence, primarily addressed to Jacob / Jacques Leichty .  Authors include family and friends in France and the United States.  This collection also includes land and citizenship records, Jacob Leichty's will, an account book, and genealogical information.

The collection consists mainly of sermon notes and correspondence, in particular letters to/from family members.

This small set of papers consists of a notebook and a copy of Heatwole's book, Gems of Thought for Memory's Casket.  The notebook appears to have served a number of purposes, containing what appears to be information about financial accounts, anecdotes and scriptures, addresses, and miscellaneous notes.  The book is notable because the text block was inserted upside-down when bound.

This small set of personal papers consists primarily of sermons sermon notes.  Other materials include photographs of Gingerich and his wife, Lena Schlatter Gingerich, reports and ephemera pertaining to his service to the Mennonite Church, an account of the treatment of Mennonites in Iowa during World War I, family correspondence (in German), and audiocassettes of the service commemorating the 60th anniversary of his ordination.
