Note
The articles copied from "Friedensstimme" journals concern the issues that Mennonites in Ukraine were involved with during the years from 1900 to 1914. These included Alternate Service in forestry, the establishment of schools, hospitals, orphanages and seniors' homes. Religious and Social concerns were addressed. The establishment of new settlements is descibed in some detail.
Note
Most of the articles were typed by Katharina Hooge from the Friedensstimme journal.
The Bethania report of 1923 is an original, handwritten report signed by Jacob Wiebe in 1923. Also included are some handwritten jot notes by John B. Toews.
