The Servants group photo

This photo is of the music group The Servants. Depicted are (l-r) Marvin Dyck, Dave Froese, Barry Loewen, Irma Dick, Wesley Toews, Janice Enns, Wayne Dyck, Florence Martens, Bertha and Larry Thiessen. Missing from the photo is Betty Redekop.

MB Mission sent The Servants to Dartmouth, N.S. in the summer of 1975 to work with the MB church being planted there. All but Irma were alumni of Bethany Bible Institute (Hepburn, Saskatchewan). Dave Froese was the team leader.

Ruth Wiens

This photograph shows Ruth (Funk) Wiens, missionary to Japan from 1950 to 1990, with Mr. and Mrs. Atsushi Tokumoto and Fukoko Mamemura who are members of Osaka-area Mennonite Brethren churches, working on publication of a comprehensive, culture-wise Sunday school curriculum for all ages.
