These records consist primarily of reports, minutes, news releases, financial records, and other materials pertaining to the work of the Mennonite Board of Congregational Ministries, the entity in the (old) Mennonite Church that provided support to congregations, Executive Secretaries who served during this time period were Howard J. Zehr (1971-1972), Ross T. Bender (1972-1974), Harold E. Bauman (1974-1977), Gordon Zook (1978-1989), and Everett Thomas (1989-2000). Researchers should note that the files are divided into two overlapping time periods and alphabetically ordered thereunder.
