Scope and content

This is a photo of the members of the Mid-East Seminar, who excavated for two weeks at Tel Aphek, near Tel Aviv in Israel this summer. Directors of the archaeological project are professors Moshe Kochavi (far right) and George Kelm (far left). Mennonite Seminary professors Elmer Martens and Millard Lind are shown holding the banner. The city wall in the background dates from 1600 A.D. The event was a cooperation between MBBS (Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary) and AMBS (Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary)
