History
With his wife, Esther Kniss, Paul Kniss served as a missionary in India for 43 years. Together, Kniss and his wife were largely responsible for establishing Bihar Mennonite Church and Good Books, a media ministry based in Ranchi, India. The Knisses were also involved in transfering leadership of the Bihar Mennonite Church from missionaries to Indian church leaders.
