Liselotte Geiger and a number of children of the community
No. 17 in a 2nd set of numbered photos from the 6th Mennonite World Conference held in 1957 in Karlsruhe, Germany. The photo is somewhat fragmented around the edges but clearly shows Liselotte Geiger and a number of children of the community (on a play structure) whom she cared for daily. Likely the photo was taken behind the Mennonite Central Committee "Mennoniten Haus" (Mennonite Home) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. See 2010-14.480.

The Mennonite Central Committee "Mennoniten Haus" in Kaiserslautern, Germany
No. 16 in a 2nd set of numbered photos from the 6th Mennonite World Conference held in 1957 in Karlsruhe, Germany. The Mennonite Central Committee "Mennoniten Haus" (Mennonite Home) in Kaiserslautern, Germany, erected close to the "Nachbarschaftsheim" (Neighbourhood Home) in the post war period. This home plays an important part in the Mennonite church life of the community. It includes a chapel and provides many other services to Mennonites and other needy people in the area.
