This Dyck family includes:
-Jacob J. Dueck (1826-1914), grandfather of Peter J. Dyck (1878-1947)
-Peter J. Dyck (1878-1947), born in Muntau, Molotschna; settled at Starbuck, Manitoba in 1928; buried at Springstein, Manitoba
-John P. Dyck (1901-1990), teacher, Mennonite genealogist and historian, son of Peter J. Dyck (1878-1947)
-Henry P. Dyck (1906-1982), son of Peter J. Dyck (1878-1947), single; served in Canadian military in Germany during second World war
-Elise (Dyck) Epp (1933-) , daughter of John P. Dyck (1901-1990)
-Hedie Epp (1944-), daughter of Anna (Dyck) Epp (1914-2001); Anna was a sister to John P. Dyck and Henry P. Dyck.

Archival history

It is not known when the earliest materials were donated, but donations were made by John P. Dyck in 1985 and 1989. Donations were also made by his daughter Elise Epp in 1992, 1994, 1995, and 1997. (See Acc. No. 85-38, 97-149 and 12-028). In 2019 Hedie Epp, another granddaughter of Peter J. Dyck, donated the Henrich Dyck letters and the annotated copy of Mein Kampf (2019-013).
