Celebrating Christmas

This photo (ca. 1956) is of a people celebrating Christmas at the Gospel Light Mission Church at 406 Logan Ave. in Winnipeg's core. There are men and women handing out presents to the children gathered. The mission church was an outgrowth of the downtown Sunday School ministry of the Winnipeg City Mission, a Mennonite Brethren sponsored initiative. Walter Janzen is standing at the front.
