This is a photo of a large group of men standing outside the Zoar Mennonite Church in Waldheim, Saskatchewan in the Fall of 1937 or Spring of 1938. They were meeting about the travel debt (Reiseschuld). Some of the members of the Canadian Mennonite Board of Colonization are visible in the photo such as J. N. Hoeppner and David Toews in the front.
