A steel rod frame construction makes the difference in the permanent housing projects in the Saigon area. Vietnam Christian Service is underwriting much of the cost for these kinds of houses. The house here has a steel rod frame and a roof and appears to be occupied already. Two children look at the camera amid various household effects including a tredle machine.

Two photos of Ann Falk, a nurse working for the Mennonite Central Committee at the Cho Quan Hospital in Saigon/Cholon. In one she and her interpreter are teaching. In the other photo she watches (left corner) patients in a mental ward of the hospital who enjoy outdoor life and the recreational equipment they have whenever they can. Both photos are dated Dec. 1968. See 1994-14. 727-729 for other photos of Ann Falk.
