This is the first West Abbotsford church building. The congregation was formally organized on 15 November 1936 and was initially called Abbotsford Mennonitengemeinde (Abbotsford Mennonite Church).

Witmarsum church

The Witmarsum church was built in 1960-1961 by Bouwbedrijf J. Heeringa - it replaced a very simple meetinghouse which was called the Menno Simons House which had been built in 1877. GAMEO article indicates that the Witmarsum Church which was built in 1960-1961 by Bouwbedrijf J. Heeringa with help from Mennonite Voluntary Service was dedicated in 1961 on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the death of Menno Simons.

Landskrone church
