This 20 item color slide show depicts a typical girl in the counties of Canada, Kenya, Philippines, and Thailand focusing on their physical surroundings and their economic realities and how MCC's Self-Help crafts (later known as Ten Thousand Villages) program helps these people. Life in a refugee camp, basket weaving, etc. are shown. Included is a script and an audio cassette #2546. Note: Slide number 1 is missing.

This slide show consists of color slides depicting the people and landscape of Bangladesh. MCC buys Jute items made by people of Bangladesh and sells them in North America through Selfhelp crafts (now known as Ten Thousand villages). -- Note: these slides go with a script and audio cassette, #2347.
